Sorry for the lack of posts lately, friends. It's been a really busy week this week plus my dad's been having a rough week with his chemo treatments. And we'll be moving in a few weeks! So unfortunately, crafting and blogging has fallen a little farther down on the priority list! :) I'll try to update a little bit, but it may be scarce in the next few weeks.
Thanks for your patience!!

Friday Inspiration
This weekend, I'm going to try to branch out a little bit and try something completely different!
I'm going to try to make some cute, fun little flower accessories!!
I know the pictures show 2 different types of accessories, but they both seemed easy enough that I thought I'd at least try one of each of them. I'd love to make brooches and hair pins to add to my inventory.
I'll let you know how it goes next week! Have a great weekend, everybody! :)

Thankful
I painted a canvas the other day just a solid light blue but wasn't sure what I was going to do with it. Then I remembered that I had some letter stickers. I'd seen a quote on Pinterest that really struck me and I thought, 'That'd be perfect.' My dad is going through chemo treatments right now and this quote is a great reminder.
I may paint over the whole thing in another color so that there is light blue lettering on a different colored background.
If you would like to have a canvas print like this, it is $15.

A twist on an inspiration
On Friday I shared a picture of something I wanted to try this weekend.
Well, I didn't do this exactly, though I will try this exact project soon. I decided to do my own little twist on this project and make something else:
Ta-da!! I should have taken a picture from the side, but the 'Dunn' letters are wooden and are glued right onto the canvas. What do you think?
I would love to make something like this for you! I'm having a bit of a hard time coming up with a price though because it'll just be dependent on how many wood letters I have to buy and if I need to bump up to a larger canvas (the one above is an 8"x10"). So, if you're interested in me making one for you, just shoot me an email at kimberrydunn@gmail.com and we'll chat. :)
I hope everyone has a lovely Tuesday!

Friday Inspiration
This weekend, I'm going to try to make something like this:
It's, of course, another find on Pinterest. :)
I've been getting a lot of orders on coasters so hopefully I'll have enough time to try something new. I'll probably be a little tired of Mod Podging after a few more hours tomorrow anyway.
Have a great weekend full of rest and fun!

A tree for every season
Yesterday I previewed a painting with an 'in progress' shot (I'm getting better at taking them!). Well, here's the finished product:
Viola! The verse is Joshua 1:9 - "Be strong and courageous...The Lord your God will be with you wherever you go."
I made this one last week, but it was a remake of one I made for my mom for Christmas. Except I made Mom a whole set!
I'm selling these for $15 each right now and $50 for all 4 paintings. I can use any verse you'd like or I can keep the one I have on them currently.
The verse on the top left painting (spring) is 2 Corinthians 5:17 - I am a new creation!
The verse on the top right painting (summer) is Psalm 95:1 - Let us sing for joy to the Lord!
The verse on the bottom left (fall) is the one I mentioned above, Joshua 1:9
The verse on the bottom right (winter) is Luke 2:14 - Glory to God in the highest!

Better late than never
Sorry, friends, for my lack of posting the past few days. But, better late than never, right?
My weekend project was to make some DIY coasters. They're really quite easy to make, which is great! The only issue I encountered was simply the smell of the Mod Podge. I was NOT expecting it to smell so bad!
Haha, anyway, here's a series of pictures to show how I made them:
I'm going to sell these for $5 for 4 coasters. I have a whole book of scrapbook paper with different designs so if you'd like some, you can just tell me what color you'd like and I can show you a few different options in that color.
